Most junk-removal appointments involve ordinary non-hazardous household, commercial, yard, or cleanout material. The exact answer depends on the item, access, current disposal options, and any local handling requirements.
Common household and property items
Furniture, mattresses, boxes, garage contents, shelving, ordinary household goods, many appliances, office furniture, and similar unwanted items are common requests. Cleanouts can combine several of these categories when the customer has already identified what should be removed.
Items that need more planning
Hot tubs, pianos, refrigerators, tires, electronics, carpet, construction debris, and unusually heavy pieces can require additional access, dismantling, recycling, or disposal planning. Mention these items specifically when requesting an estimate instead of treating them as part of an unspecified mixed pile.
Items outside a standard pickup
Hazardous waste and biohazard remediation are not part of the standard service represented on this site. Some regulated materials also need specialized handling or a different disposal path. If you are unsure, send a photo or list before the appointment so the item can be checked before loading.
Keep, donate, recycle, or remove
A cleanout is easier when the customer makes keep-versus-remove decisions before the crew arrives. Items that may be donated or reused can be separated where practical. Public recycling guidance can also help customers identify materials that should not simply be mixed into ordinary trash.
